In 1976 he acceoted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at Eastside Baptist Church. He was alter ordained as Deacon at Eastside, and became Superintendent of Sunday School. He receive his calling to the preaching ministry in 1982. He was licensed and ordained to the Gospel ministry in 1982 by the New Ashley Baptist Association, and became the Pastor of the Eastside Baptist Church on March 1, 1986.

He is currently Vice-Moderator of the New Ashley Baptist Association and a member of thte Executive Board. He has served as First Vice President of the Baptist Education Center Foundation. He was employed for many years with the Charleston County School District, until sustaining injury on the job. He actively works with the Association Prison Ministry, and was appointed as and Alternate Deputy Probation Officer in the Charleston County Family Court System.

Reverend Robinson has labored faithfully as pastor of Eastside for Twenty yearsm giving his best, being totally committed, dedicated, and determined to preach, teach, won souls for christ. During his twenty years as Pastor of Eastside, many, many souls were added to the church and baptized. He was Instrumental overseeing the building of our new edifice, and the renovation of the former building that we worshiped in that is now our Fellowship Hall.

As Rev. Robinson has done a marvelous work. He was also instrumental in licensin six (6) ministers to preach the Gospel, and ordained three (3) ministers to preach God's Gospel and has ordained four (4) Deacons. He has preformed many, many, marriage ceremonies, and dedicated many, many babies to Christ!

He is married to the former Jestine Miller, his high school sweetheart. She is a lovely God fearing woman, who is very supportive, devoted and a dedicated worker for God. They are proud parents of four (4) children: Deacon Nathaniel Robinson Jr. Shannon, Tye, and Kristen and also the proud grandparents of twelve grandchildren.
